As I exited the school grounds and got onto the streets of Manhattan, the screams and shouts were heard up and down the busy streets. Cars were stopped people were running, shouts were endless.
I neared 2nd and 71st and might I just say, what I saw was the most amazing site. New Yorkers piled in the streets, news casters, cars with people jumping on the hoods, people hanging out their windows shouting. It was amazing. I kept hearing people say "It's wonderful to see everyone so happy" and it's true. New Yorkers are stereotyped as being mean and shallow. Well, today, I saw the true side of a New Yorker, a nice, genuine person. They hugged and kissed everyone that passed. It was awesome.
Post-Game drinks were in order so me, Danielle, Daniel, and some others headed over to Tequila Jacks and had a few beers. What a night.
I won the "Root Beer Pong" game with Danielle...$20 bucks to Best Buy.
And I got a gift card to H&M for the trivia challenge. Yeah I own.
Tonight was wonderful.
