I was told not to give too many spoilers away due to privacy of this script. But here we go...
It starts off very promising and very easy to understand for those who never read the books (I read them...), Michael agrees that as the script progesses it loses it's easy flow and becomes a complicated mess of cryptic dialogue, that only those who know the book will understand. The chemistry between Bella and Edward is certainly faster paced than the book, which prolonged a lot of it and it added to the literary tension. But since this is a movie, I understand, the intense dream sequences make up for it. The characters of James, Laurent, and Victoria are introduced early on in the film to add suspense in between all the romance and such. The scene at the Cullen residence is definitely a whole lot different, we do not see Edward at the piano, we do not see the Family history tapestry...which is interesting because all of these play important roles in New Moon...which was recently confirmed for 2010. The Cullen siblings, other than Alice and Edward, are not given much to do. Which is interesting because in the novel, we get a taste of their special skills and they do speak a lot. Jasper and Emmett have about 4 lines in the films entirety.
Sorry Michael, I love you buddy, BUT I'm sure on screen everything kicks ass. Because damn does that added sequence at the end really add to the suspense.
That's about it.
Hope you're all feeling a little teased.
